Cisco 2511 16/16 Terminal Server Router Kit
This is a great router to use as your Access Server or Terminal Server so you do not have to keep moving your console cable. It comes with 16MB DRAM, 16MB Flash so you can support IPv6,16 Async ports, two serial ports and an Ethernet port.
The transceiver add-on for this router will convert the AUI port over to an ethernet port. This will allow you to reload the IOS via TFTP server (if you want to change it or if it gets corrupted at any point), get your device on you LAN, and even allow for remote access capability.
