Returns Policy

There is a no exchange, no return policy, no refund policy. This is to prevent buyer's remorse and students from using the equipment and returning it when done studying. Returns are accepted only if you do not receive what you ordered so that we can send you the correct item. An RMA number must be obtained to facilitate this process.

If there is a hardware failure with a unit you receive and it is still under our warranty, we reserve the right to either exchange the unit or replace the defective part (such as a bad power supply, memory module, etc.).  For domestic orders, if the defective unit is reported within the first 10 day period after delivery, we will cover the cost of shipping for RMA.  The customer is responsible for shipping costs beyond that period for RMA.

We must be notified of any issue within 10 days of the receipt of your order. If for any reason we agree to accept a return there will be a 30% restocking fee applied.

There are no returns of any software based products or books. 

Servers also fall under the no exchange, no return and no refund policy because they are custom special order products.

Shipping Policy:

When placing an order with CertificationKits you will be presented with several shipping options during checkout. All Domestic and International orders are shipped via UPS or USPS so it will be trackable. We only ship on our UPS account so in the event there is a problem with the shipment, we can assist in correcting it with the carrier. We are sorry but we cannot use any other carriers.

We do our best to process and ship all standard size orders within two business days. However there may be occasions where an order may be delayed an extra day due to extenuating business circumstances.  Most standard orders ship the next business day once it passes through final quality control and testing.

The cart calculates shipping primarily based off the weight of the items. For UPS orders, we pass along our incentive rates to get you the cheapest rates possible, so for heavier items that will almost always be the cheapest shipping option available.

Delivery and Transit Times:

Delivery times vary depending on the date the order is shipped, the shipping and delivery addresses, and other factors. UPS is pretty reliable when it comes to their transit times so once you receive a tracking number from us you should be able to estimate with some accuracy when your order will arrive. Once you receive your tracking number you can visit the carriers website to track your package. The tracking information usually contains the estimated delivery date which is usually pretty accurate. The UPS web site is www.ups.com

Under any circumstances, do NOT refuse delivery of your package/s.  If a customer refuses delivery of a package, we reserve the right to consider the order abandoned and a refund will not be issued.  If you have any issues with a package in transit, please contact us for assistance.  

International Shipping:

We will gladly ship your order to any destination in the world serviced by UPS or USPS. Shipping rates are automatically calculated during checkout. Please do not ask us to claim a lower amount or gift on the customs declaration. We cannot do that as a legitimate business practice.

Please note that that we are not responsible for delivery times of items sent via USPS if the service that you chose is not guaranteed by them. Also note that the shipments sent via USPS are only tracked until they leave the USA. Once they leave the USA, we have no way to track them other than by a Custom's Form number which is not really tracking.

International Shipping: Brokerage, Customs & Duties

We have no control over what your country charges for customs fees, duties, taxes or any other fee your county may impose to import products. You will be solely responsible for these charges. There is no way we can keep up to date on every country in the world.

By placing an international order with us, you agree to pay all and any import taxes/duties/fees that you may incur and provide any additional documentation requested by customs.  Please be sure to triple check any prohibited items or special clearance requirements.  Failure to do this will likely cause the package to be abandoned by the carrier or subject us to extreme costs to have sent back where incentive rates do not apply.  Due to this, international customers agree that in the failure/refusal to pay any import taxes/duties/fees and/or clear customs we are not responsible for refunding their order.  In the event that we are unable to reclaim the package, there will be no refund on the initial shipping, you will be responsible for return shipping fees and penalties, and you will also be charged a 30% restocking fee based of the cost of the entire order (including shipping to cover the cost of packing materials/labor).  Any items damaged in the returning shipment will also not be partially refunded.  Please do not order internationally if you are not prepared to agree to these terms and be responsible for import tax/duties/fees.

Loss or Damage

If your order is lost or damaged during transit we will handle the claim with the carrier to save you the time and aggravation. We will also replace your order, up to the insured amount (the purchase price), as soon as the carrier has processed the claim. This can be a complicated procedure, please contact us if you have any questions about it. The good news is that packages are rarely lost and the items we sell are hard to damage so this will rarely affect our customers.

Definition

International orders are considered delivered when they arrive at customs.  After arrival of the goods in the country of destination, the customs clearance in the importing country needs to be completed by the buyer, e.g. import permit, documents required by customs and etc., including all customs duties and taxes.
