CCIE Security Platinum Kit
This kit is based on the exact topology, the new 2014 Version CCIE Security topology of the training materials provided by Internetwork Expert, Inc. It makes use of the exact specifications as provided by Internetwork Expert to reproduce the CCIE Lab Rack topology used by Internetwork Expert, including the correct 15.x and 8.x IOS versions. It is intended for the serious student who will accept nothing but the best. This kit will allow the student to do 100% of the lab exercises in any of the Internetwork Expert CCIE Security study materials.
We include all the Cisco devices to replicate the lab. You will need to supply the Windows based servers and workstations.
The Security Lab Racks are built to support all the features and technologies used in the actual CCIE lab exam. For Security Lab racks, the major hardware components are divided between two major modules, Firewall Services and Security Services, with two additional "Add-on Modules," Wireless Security Services and Web Security Services.
Firewall Services Module
The Firewall Services module consists of 2 2900 Series ISR routers with GigabitEthernet and one 2800 Series ISR router with FastEthernet interfaces, two ASA 5510 Firewall appliances, two ASA 5515-X Firewall appliances, two Catalyst 3750 switches, one Cisco 7900 series IP Phone, one Cisco Identity Services Engine VM version 1.3, one Cisco Access Control Server VM version 5.3, one Test-PC running Windows 7 32-bit with direct-connected network interfaces for identity management labs, and one Test Server running Windows 2008 Enterprise Server. The routers run a mixture of 15.X IOS images with the advanced security feature set. The switches run IOS 12.2 IOS images with the IP Services feature set. The security appliances run the version of software shown in the generic-devices table.

General Topology
Each of the modules interconnect for the highest level of modularity. Additionally, the physical topology of the Security Lab Rack remains the same throughout the entire INE Security workbook series. After your Lab Rack has been physically cabled to meet this specification, there is no need to change the cabling to complete each lab in the workbooks. The specific devices used in the design of the Security Lab Racks are:
